When I started Princess & the Pea, Survivor Edition, I chose to speak my truth, to break my silence. It has been a personal journey as I learned a lot from sharing my stories and hearing from those who resonate with them. I have been glad to connect in this way. While there have been some twists and turns in the process, I have begun to create some order in the chaos. It can be tricky to know what to share and when, such as when to admit struggles and when to hold back. It’s a line I continue to walk both in my life and in these pages.
