Sometimes good things happen... if we're there to receive them

I’ve been quiet lately but not because I’m silent. I am working diligently on my grind, creating something new and exciting. But it is too soon to tell.

Today, in need of something, something to fill me up, to recharge me, I headed to a favorite place. I live along the ocean. I forget sometimes that this gift is something not everyone has, even though I have an ocean walkway a block from my home.

I often go to a tourist place because it’s fantastic. It’s where the cruise ships come in, three or more a week in summer, called the Breakwater. Or Ogden Point. This special place is in my small city of Victoria in British Columbia in the Pacific Northwest.

I walk along the water often. I’ve heard stories of whale sightings as they are common along the coast. There are several tour companies that take people on boats for a fair sum to spot the whales.
